Born and raised in San Francisco, Damon first discovered his love of design at the age of 7 when he painted stage sets for his school play, Aladdin. At the age of 14, upon his first exposure to the internet, he became obsessed with designing websites. He has since pursued studies in architecture and earned his BFA in graphic design.

Damon has been leading the design effort at Balanced, a payments startup, for the past 3 years. He was previously at 1185 Design for 4 years, designing for clients like Agilent, Dell, Flipboard, SAP, and Zynga.

As an avid Giants fan, he is working on a lego replica of AT&T Park. He also enjoys meteorology, photography, and mid-century modern furniture. More recently, his love of storytelling and preservation of history has compelled him to write and design a book of biographies about his ancestors.
